Still nauseaus, sometimes walking thru mud, sometimes very fatigued, and a rash is back...
I'm still adding the anti-nausea meds slowly. I think the one I take at bedtime is making it really hard to wake up in the morning. I doesn't seem to help me fall asleep, however.
I noticed some itching in the late afternoons/evenings a few days ago and it has increased until last night I more fully realized - I am getting no simple answers here. The rash is hot, raised, itchy, and red. It is worse on my arms and thighs and makes getting to sleep hard.
Dr. Haverkos thought the rashes would subside with treatment. We really have never known what triggers them or brings relief. They also look like the RA rash. I have some arthritis but who knows. I have had people suggest everything from changing to Irish Spring soap to taking B1 supplements, to Calamine Lotion. I've used the prescription medications and lotions. Nothing really helps - but some things like baths full of oils and salts and such seem to distract for a bit at least.
I did start something today suggested by the acupuncturist: Po Chai Pills from Hong Kong. I've stayed away from Chinese herbs since the early days when blood tests showed a lot of lead in my blood and all my DO and I could think of as the source were the Chinese herbs I was taking.
He swears by this weird little vile of vial of pearls - that it will help with nausea. I think it may have and I felt a little jittery and hyper and...talkative. Who knows. I have only tried them once so far. I shared this with one of the PAs who laughed as he shared that the other name for the med is Zyprexa-the anti-depressant. 😝
At least I didn't feel as badly as yesterday - I felt like I had mud in my veins. To move is hard when I feel like that. I was hoping a lymphatic drainage massage would help. I was also hoping it would help shrink some of the hard lymph nodes in my neck that don't seem to have changed. I went today but had the date wrong. Oh the mushy brain! Uhg.
